Sherri was born in Iowa but grew up in Wabasha Minnesota. After graduating from Wabasha-Kellogg High School she married and moved to Holmen Wisconsin where she raised her family. Sherri initially worked in the healthcare field before finding her real passion for home decorating. This career included working with clients on home remodeling, updating and decorating. Sherri is certified in staging and room design, a degree she obtained from Midwest Staging Redesign Institute in Naperville Illinois. In 2011 Sherri had the opportunity to purchase Blinds by Design. A window covering business she had been employed at for the previous 8 years. It was a natural fit because it gave her another service she was able to provide for the clients she was already working with. Blinds by Design serves all of LaCrosse, Winona, Rochester and the surrounding areas. Moving back "home" to Wabasha in 2019 Sherri acquired her real estate license from The Minnesota School of Realty and joined The Gwaltney Group at Re/Max Results in Wabasha. She has built up an impressive resume of clients over the last 30 years who are thrilled with her work. She works with buyers and sellers alike and enjoys every aspect of real estate! In her free time, Sherri enjoys getting together with family and friends, reading, traveling, her own home projects, and of course HGTV!
